When i visited Maastricht I found this little monument.
Its dedicated to the librators of this city in september 1944.

Peter, Great photos. The 30th Infantry Division was considered the best infantry division
to fight in World War II by military historian, S.L.A. Marshall. Earlier in my site I visit
the grave of Pfc Kenneth Grogan who was in the 30th and killed by sniper in Normandy
on July 1, 1944. Their website is http://www.30thinfantry.org/.
